We’re seeking a Web Experience Visual Designer to elevate the Chime.com web experience. In this role, you’ll drive the visual vision and execution of user-centric design solutions that are informed by data and consumer insights, grounded in accessibility and web UX best practices, focused on performance journeys and aligned with brand integrity. This is a marketing design role focused on Chime.com. You won’t be designing app features or logged-in product flows.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680.00 and up to $144,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Design and optimize marketing web pages and campaigns—from hero visuals to CTA flows—that balance storytelling, usability, and conversion performance.
  • Partner with growth marketers and content leads to build web experiences that drive acquisition, education, and trust.
  • Create scalable design patterns for page layouts, components, and microinteractions tailored to marketing needs.
    Use tools like heatmaps, user behavior data, and A/B test results to inform iterations.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to bring high-performance, responsive designs to life across screen sizes.
  • Contribute to CMS best practices, helping scale and templatize visual standards for self-serve updates.
  • Stay current on web trends, design tools, and industry innovations to continuously push creative and technical boundaries.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 5+ years of experience in web/marketing design, working on responsive websites, landing pages, and CMS-driven platforms.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful interaction design, visual design, and end-to-end user flows.
  • Experience with performance-optimized web design (fast load, SEO-aware, conversion-focused).
  • Experience in developing multi-media, dynamic, and engaging web experiences 
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions across levels and disciplines.
  • Expertise in Figma and proficiency with design systems, component libraries, and modern collaboration tools.
  • Understanding how to use AI tools to accelerate wireframing, mockups, content exploration, or image generation.
