Visual Designer, Tripadvisor Global Markets (1 year contract)

As a member of the Global Markets Creative team, you’ll work closely with fellow writers, designers and a broad range of internal stakeholders to shape our communications and bring this refreshed point of view to millions of travelers around the world—helping to transform one of the most iconic travel brands in the world. 

The Visual Designer (contract) role reports into the Associate Creative Director, Global Markets, based in Singapore, at Tripadvisor’s APAC headquarters. You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment that fuses the speed, innovation and excitement of a start-up with the scale of a global industry leader. While this is currently a 1-year contract, there is potential for an extension or full-time role at the end. 

What You’ll Do

• Bring concepts/campaigns to life with strong visual executions that drive programme goals
• Work in lockstep with a copywriter to create original and ownable creative concepts that can be deployed across multiple points of sale and languages
• Design and deliver creative assets for all touchpoints, including email, social media, digital and in-product
• Own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion
• Help to create, maintain, enforce and evolve the Tripadvisor brand across all relevant touchpoints 

What we’re looking for

• 4-6+ years of relevant industry experience in an agency or in-house creative team
• Strong visual design chops, with an eye and appreciation for photography/image selection, typography, layout, color theory, and information hierarchy
• Ability to communicate creative concepts and articulate solutions to project stakeholders
• Design experience working across digital and social channels. 
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Video editing/production skills are a plus.
• Awareness of trends in culture and experience working with large consumer brands.
• Submission of an industry-leading portfolio is required. Your portfolio should showcase an appreciation for photography, typography, composition, color, and a pixel-level attention to detail.
