About the Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. Backed by some of the best investors, sports properties and operators in the world, we are integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and more than 81 million reachable fans - to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.
We are seeking a Visual Designer with experience building beautiful and inclusive consumer experiences on desktop and mobile platforms. In this role, you will help define the visual design standards for industry-leading direct to consumer collecting and live selling applications in the Fanatics Collectibles portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in a start-up like environment, working from ideation to final product. They have a passion for user-centric design, an obsessive eye for details, and a knack for storytelling.

What does this mean as a member of the product team?

  • Supporting Product Design Lead throughout development process
  • Designing compelling visual designs and user interfaces using best practices in typography, layout, and color while adding innovation and defining the Fanatics Collectibles digital brand
  • Partnering closely with engineering and product teams to deliver necessary artifacts under strict time constraints
  • Driving creation and implementation of design system components
  • Translating data and user insights into digital experiences
  • Quickly iterating on wireframes, user flows, and prototypes

Indications that this is the right role for you:

  • 3+ years experience with demonstrated ability in designing for native mobile, responsive mobile, and web. 
  • A well-rounded, online, design portfolio demonstrating a refined design eye
  • Proactive with capacity to balance multiple projects at once while being flexible, collaborative, and open-minded.
  • Proven ability to generate supportive visual assets for larger brand systems beyond logos, logotypes, or basic components.
  • Experience in an ecommerce environment is a plus.
  • Accessibility expertise is a plus
