At Atlan, we started as a data team ourselves tackling problems like national healthcare and poverty alleviation with data science. (Check out our TEDx talk and case studies.)

The problem: After working on 200+ data projects, we learned how tough it was to scale data teams. Data teams are one of the most interdisciplinary teams ever created. They're made up of analysts, data scientists, engineers, business users – diverse people with their own tooling preferences, skill sets, and "DNA" that need to come together. This leads to collaboration chaos.

We were awoken with crisis calls every second day for the minutest of issues — from troubleshooting why a number on a dashboard was incorrect to difficulties in getting access to the right data set! Atlan started with us building tools to make our own data team more agile.

These tools made our team 6x more agile, helping us take on amazing projects like building India's National Data Platform used by India's Prime Minister. The best part — this was built by an eight-member team, the fastest project of its kind to go live, in a record twelve months instead of the projected three years.

As a brand experience designer, you will help shape and scale compelling brand narratives and immersive experiences that resonate with our audience.

What will you do 🚀

Become a custodian of the brand user experiences that shape brand perception and appeal across a diverse set of channels and mediums, both digital and print.
Conceptualise visual designs and brand assets that truly stand out from the “noise”, staying on top of visual trends and best practices.
Work closely with marketing, product teams, and external agencies to create innovative user experiences that captivate and engage our target audience.
Use feedback mechanisms to refine design approaches, ensuring continuous improvement and evolution of brand experiences.
Help build brand systems that power scalable design execution across a diverse set of channels and collaterals, including digital assets and print collateral.

What makes you a great match for us 💙

2-5 years of experience in visual design, preferably in a product-driven company, with a focus on branding and creating integrated user experiences.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and collaborative design tools such as Figma.
A compelling portfolio demonstrating work from concept development to final execution with a focus on multi-stage brand experiences.
Ability to translate brand strategy into compelling narratives.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Adaptive to changing priorities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Owner mindset and the drive to solve problems and drive measurable outcomes.
An understanding of CSS and HTML, and web-based experiences is a plus.
