The Experience Design team✍️ is part of the Marketing department at ManoMano and work closely with Product and IT teams to imagine & deliver the new ManoMano experience for tomorrow.

Currently, almost 20 designers and user researchers are working together in order to design and deliver best-in-class products & services to our users & customers, and support ManoMano ambitions.

We are looking for a UX/UI designer in training contracts to join our team and work on the future of the DYI ecommerce platform .

✅ Main responsibilities :

Work with Senior UX-UI designers on several projects to deliver a holistic experience aligned on users & business needs, leading and implementing UX vision in order to design and build an efficient experience.

Be a part of the team and growth as a complete designer during your journey with us (always with the help / support of the team), be proud of all the projects you will manage.

Additionally, be able to collaborate across large teams and pitch ideas.

✅ As UX/UI Designer in training contracts you will :

- Frame and solve problems weaving together experiences that take the user needs, business goals and technology into account

- Drive some product discovery including Product Managers in order to understand your users pain points by collecting users’ feedbacks (qualitative research) and putting it together with datas

- Distill ideas, clearly communicate and articulate the “why” of design decisions in order to influence your stakeholders and build consensus

- Inspire and align the team around user experience by developing user flows and interfaces informed by user interactions and product requirements

- Work closely with the Product Teams that are in your scope, meaning Product Managers, engineers and also Business Owners in order to get buy-in and alignment on your design recommendations

- Diffuse a user-centric mindset through impactful design methodologies and regular sessions with users.

- Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain design consistency and coherence across our product ecosystem.

- Be responsible for all the respect of the design, the UI, the creativity… And create the right mockups and visuals to express the DNA & Mano Mano’s singularity.

Requirements

- Be a student in Master degree cursus in design with a specialty in Product design / UX-UI design (master II or master I).

- Be able to communicate in English is a mandatory requirement.

- Living in or close to Paris or Bordeaux office (to sharing good moment of sharing physically in the office).

- Knowledge and experiences designing with Figma or Sketch.

- Background as a student in visual design is a plus (sensitive to aesthetic & brand communication).

- Be a good communicator, be positive and like to work in a collaborative way (peer design adept).

- A great ability to conceptualize UX & UI concepts.

- An understanding of how design impacts development and a knack for constructing delightful designs that are technically feasible.

- Being a DIY univers lover is not mandatory but a plus to understand our clients & projects.
