As they say, “You only get one chance to make a first impression.” As a UX Writer on the website team at Bitpanda, you’ll be focused on the very first interactions someone has with Bitpanda. By working closely with designers and partnering with product, marketing and engineering peers, you’ll ensure we deliver a stellar narrative and crystal clear content on our website. The impact of the first impressions you’ll drive is huge, as we seek to inspire people to trust and believe that their dream of achieving financial independence is possible with little effort.
This isn’t a marketing or social media role. Instead, this position requires understanding of the role language plays in the UX design process. As a team member in the Experience Design Adoption area, you’ll be part of shaping the future of financial independence for millions of people across Europe.
What you’ll do:
- Transform our website content with an eye toward increasing our acquisition rate and simplifying the overall website user experience;
- Maintain and iteratively improve the user experience on our website by collaborating with product managers, product marketing managers, and other stakeholders to refine problems into hypotheses that help you explore, build and refine your content;
- Continuously test and keep track of our website’s performance metrics alongside your website teammates, to learn about and understand the opportunities to better connect and engage with potential customers;
- Cultivate content design and ux writing practices, empowering the Experience Design team to be confident to write in-app communication on their own;
- Contribute to the growth and consistency of our product’s experience quality by supporting your UX design colleagues through pair designing;
- Contribute to the definition and design of our product’s tone of voice and language guidelines;
Who we’re looking for:
- Sharp writing and storytelling skills, because you believe in the power of words and view web experiences through the lens of conversation;
- A deep understanding of writing for the web and the constraints it comes with, given short attention spans;
- An articulated and strategic thinker, who can prioritise and map things out to better explain them to others and build a shared understanding;
- A keen interest in a new paradigm for financial freedom;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English;
- Confidence in writing in German; if not a native speaker, than a C1/C2 level speaker
