UX Writer - Soundtrap job at Spotify

Soundtrap is an easy-to-use audio creation studio under the umbrella of Spotify. It’s cloud-based, offers real-time collaboration, and works on many kinds of devices. Great musicians and artists - established or not - shouldn't have to be tech-savvy on audio engineering, so we are making it possible for almost anyone to be able to focus on their creativity and not the complexity that comes with many recordings and editing tools today.

Would you like to work on ideas to innovate the way people make music and podcasting? We are looking forward to welcoming a new creative problem solver in the form of a UX Writer or Senior UX Writer to our team in Stockholm. You will be exploring new ways of crafting new experiences that make Soundtrap stand out - not only in the quality of the product - but making it the best collaborative music tool out there.

As a UX writer, you will work collaboratively with designers, engineers, developers, researchers, business stakeholders, and product managers to be a part of a design process - from vision to measuring the real impact of your work. This position is situated in the Soundtrap Core Unit where you will work with a variety of product teams, reporting to the Design Lead/Head of Design at Soundtrap.

Who you are

Write clear, consistent, concise copy for Soundtrap’s Core Unit - which focuses on the part of the product where most of the audio creation and collaboration happens. So if you are interested in collaborative productivity tools - this is a good place for you!
Think beyond words, and how data, visuals, and images can help our users.
Collaborate with designers, researchers, prototypers, product managers, and engineers to deliver compelling UX solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert, present and rationalize your work to stakeholders.
Partner with Product Marketing on naming, positioning, and go-to-market strategies, while also considering the challenges of delivering experiences for different markets.
Be a part, and contributor to the Soundtrap Design practice, where we help each other to become better designers and writers
Maintain and document evolving content, brand, and voice/tone standards.

Where you'll be

You are passionate about Spotify and Soundtrap helping users record and collaborate on their audio creations.
Can concept on the fly and collaborate with anyone to get things done.
Have empathy for your audience and can anticipate user needs.
Love both strategy and hands-on writing and editing.
Thrive in a fast-paced organization managing multiple projects and deadlines.
You have at least 5+ years of experience in UX Writing (content design, content strategy, product writing).
Please provide a portfolio of work that shows a range of content you’ve created.
