As a UX Writer / Content Designer, you play an important role in the UX team, partnering with product managers, designers, engineers, customer-facing teams, and users to create simple, straightforward content for the product.
You'll be a key player in the design of a content strategy and UX writing, aligning user needs and flows with business objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring all the content in our e-commerce and digital products is usable, consistent, and inclusive. You are an ideal candidate if you love to tell stories, solve problems, and want to help improve the experience around sleep products for people across the world.
What you'll do:
- Write, design, support, test, and improve in-product content that makes Emma's e-commerce experience and digital products easier and more compelling to use.
- Give and solicit feedback from Product Managers, Product Design, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best in-product content experience.
- Advocate for our customer's experience by validating user behaviour with research.
- Develop content strategies, information architectures, and style guidelines.
- Collaborate daily with peers cross-functionally, contributing to the clarity and usability of the customer's experience.
- Evaluate and implement industry standards in content design.
- Work independently and manage multiple, simultaneous projects.
What you'll bring to us:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- 1 - 7 years experience with content strategy, content design, UX writing, or similar experience.
- Experience creating style, voice, and tone guidelines.
- Familiarity with Figma, Miro, and other collaboration software.
- Interest in and comfortable creating content within the field of Sleep is a plus.
