UXR at Lattice
The UX Research team cultivates a deep understanding of our customer, delivers actionable insights, and helps define the strategic opportunities for our product teams through qualitative and quantitative research methods. We ensure we build the best user experience with confidence to help Lattice remain successful.
We find that research has the greatest impact when tightly coupled with design and product decisions, so we work on interdisciplinary teams. You’ll be embedded with a team of designers, product managers, engineers and cross functional partners across the organization. As you conduct research, you will be responsible for developing deep, research-driven product expertise.
What You Will Do
As an intern at Lattice, you’ll be an integral member of the Design team, working and learning alongside our talented team. This is a full time summer internship for 40 hours/week for a period of 12 weeks. This is an opportunity to develop skills and expertise in research coordination and execution, cross-functional team collaboration, and actionable insight. Interns will be provided with one-on-one mentorship and feedback throughout their internship.
- You will be reporting to a Senior member of our UXR team. They will work with you to outline goals and growth during your internship.
- Work closely with your manager to create and execute on 30/60/90 day plan
- Be embedded with the larger UXR team as well as work closely with Product Designers, Product Manager and cross functional partners across the organization
- Design, plan and execute user research projects
- Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in compelling and creative ways
What You Will Bring to the Table
- Enrolled in a full-time Bachelors or Postgraduate program in Anthropology, Business, Design, Humanities, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Journalism, Liberal Arts, Neuroscience, Psychology, Sociology, (or similar) and graduating between December 2023 - June 2024
- Demonstrated skills for collaborating closely with others
- Clear presentation and communication style
- One sample that highlights your research approach (i.e. past work, a classroom report, a personal project)
- A background in qualitative (and some quantitative) UX research methods
- A commitment to the 12 week, 40hrs a week Internship
