FullStory is seeking a User Experience Researcher who will deliver insights that build understanding and clarity, and impact product strategy.

You'll report to the Head of UX Research and will be an important participant in every aspect of our intensely collaborative product development process. That means you’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering collaborators. You will work with teams to define impactful research questions, select research methods, facilitate research, and communicate findings that focus on real user impact. You bring a balanced mindset on research methodology and actionable recommendations.

FullStory’s Product Experience team swings big on vision but deep on the details, championing the little things that result in exceptional user experiences.

Day-to-day you’ll:

  • Apply a variety of research methods to investigate and untangle customer problems.
  • Engage cross-functional partners in defining research goals, questions, and methodology.
  • Generate insights to fuel ideation, evaluate prototypes, and measure existing experiences
  • Help collaborators build know-how of research methodology and analysis.
  • Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in creative, compelling ways to encourage action on behalf of end users.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has an education in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science or other related fields or equivalent practical experience
  • Has experience planning and facilitating primary research in roles like UX Researcher, UX Designer, Content Strategist, or similar
