UX Researcher

As the first member of the UX Research team at EvenUp, your role will not just involve conducting user research but actively seeking ways to embed AI solutions that accelerate output and enhance quality. You'll be pivotal in identifying opportunities where AI can streamline processes, augment user capabilities, and facilitate faster, more efficient creation of high-quality work. You will be responsible for conducting research to uncover user insights, inform design decisions, and validate product concepts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure our products meet the needs and expectations of our users. You will provide actionable and meaningful data-driven insights that represent the voice of our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all stages of UX research including identifying, planning, conducting, analyzing, and reporting of insights

• Plan and execute user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries, as well as a comprehensive review of current data

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define research objective and prioritize research efforts

• Develop and maintain a research roadmap, ensuring that user research aligns with product development milestones

• Contribute to structuring, scaling and building the design team and organization

• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends

• Analyze and synthesize research findings to create actionable insights that inform product strategy and design decisions

• Create and maintain a user research repository to ensure insights are easily accessible to the broader team

• Advocate for the user by presenting research findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership

• Continuously monitor and assess user feedback and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:

• This role is for a senior position and will require +5 years of proven experience conducting user research in a product development environment

• Proficiency in a range of research methods, both qualitative and quantitative

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to derive actionable insights

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner

• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams which includes familiarity with UX design principles and the product development process
