Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

You will join a dedicated, nimble team that is helping Atlassian achieve its mission, which is to unleash the potential of teams all over the world. In this role, you'll drive and conduct research that informs our ultimate mission and the evolution of our best loved products (including Jira, Confluence, Trello, and Bitbucket).

We have more than 10M users all around the world—and teams (massive and small) depend on our software to do their work. Organizations like NASA, Twitter, and LinkedIn use Atlassian products everyday; our Research & Service Experience team is at the heart of helping uncover what makes these teams work well together. Sound like an exciting place to start your career? Here you'll be encouraged to use your imagination and try new things!

  • Be a part of an international and highly skilled research team.
  • Gain valuable exposure to the design and product development process by working with multidisciplinary agile teams, including product managers, designers and engineers.
  • Get experience with the operations of scaling research in a fast-paced, international organization.

We'll expect you to:

  • Be currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program and graduating by June 2022
  • Have a real passion for user-centered research
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Have demonstrated some experience conducting and synthesizing research
