We are looking for a fresh, enthusiastic and motivated UX Research Operations Student to join our product insights team at Planday in Copenhagen. We expect you to work weekly 15-20 hours with flexibility to attend your exams.

As an UX Research Operations Student, you will be working as an integrated part of our dynamic Product Engineering Team; Supporting User Researchers, Designers, Product managers, and Engineers with user recruitment and user feedback through-out the product life-cycle.

The Planday Insights team is pioneering user research, capturing user interactions, and defining actionable insights that are helping to shape the future of shift work and people management at a global scale. We are working daily to understand users’ problems with staffing, scheduling, payments, business reporting and absence (amongst others).

Growing your Research Practice

Product Insights team has grown a lot in the last year. It is a diverse team of Product Researchers and Data Analysts. We are pushing towards a more mature research practice that can work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams and support discovery with data and insights to help peers make informed product strategy, innovation and design decisions.

As an UX Research Operations Student you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your research skills. We believe there is no better way to learn, than to do. Your role will be working with researchers and designers on recruiting the right participants at the right time, bridging the gap between Planday and our customers.

What you will do:

Establish a scalable and solid recruitment process and tools recruiting non-customer and customer for interviews, usability tests, product close-ups, customers visits etc. including aligning with Revenue Ops and Customer Success teams
Create a budget estimate e.g. incentives, transportations, marketing for different types of research to create transparency around research costs
Create and maintain repeatable processes for research documentation including communications material & templates
Evaluate and select research tools in partnership with Contracts, Security, and Legal
Improve and enforce best practices around research participant data privacy and compliance
Support participant recruiting on an ad hoc basis including participant scheduling and coordination support for research and product ops team
Create programs and partnerships to scale the practice of user research across the company
Build a searchable research repository and make priori research easier to find and access
