What you'll get to do...

Are you a design thinker who loves to produce and manage, but also a project manager who loves design? This might be just the position you’re looking for.

The Creative Design Operations Producer will oversee the lifecycle of multiple projects and workflows  from inception to completion across our creative teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in design and proven track record of creating best practices for creative/production teams, strong cross-cultural communications, and the ability to prioritize and problem solve daily. The role will work closely with Product Managers, UX designers, Engineering teams, and Brand Creatives to ensure projects are properly staffed and set up for success.

This team loves innovative ideas from all team members, Producer included, and are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced creative environment. The UX Producer is responsible for managing and defining detailed project plans for the UX team, which means following up with internal and external stakeholders for information needed to ensure all creative/digital projects are managed and completed on time, within scope and with the objectives in mind.

You will create and maintain project plans, status updates, and identify and work with the team to mitigate risks and resolve project issues. Translate requirements into executable plans that adhere to both timeline and scope. Review and sign off on features, sprint demos, and prototypes. Set expectations for the team in terms of project timing and prioritization of tasks. For this role specifically, you should feel comfortable wrangling a complex and sometimes chaotic project into an organized one. You should ask lots of questions and feel a need to. We are hoping you will not just project manage, but understand the project, the business goals and engage in the technology enough to be able to anticipate scope and timeline challenges.

  • Develop project scopes and timelines involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Work directly with product teams to understand project request, gather requirements, define objectives, deliverables and delivery dates, plan resources and develop a clear and actionable project plan
  • Sets expectations with internal and external teams and handles prioritization for work that comes through creative team
  • Manages and monitors changes in scope, prioritization, and schedules across sometimes complex, multi-faceted projects
  • Facilitates project-related team meetings (i.e. kick-offs, status, internal reviews, user testing, etc,), communicating action steps ensuring all stakeholders have up to date, day to day reports and project milestones
  • Deep dive into project requirements gaining understanding of needs for projects that may at times be ambiguous
  • Continually work to optimize process and workflow
  • Understand when (and why) to escalate issues. Facilitate meetings, and ensure the team receives clear direction for next steps
  • Establishes strong relationships with internal/external teams while managing multiple work-streams with competing priorities.

Your experience should include...

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a fluent English speaker
  • A background in design and experience in UX, visual, or brand, with the understanding of the lifecycle of digital products (web and mobile)
  • Experience working as part of a remote team
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, with a methodical approach to all tasks and high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal oversight
  • Experience leading teams, translating requirements into executable plans that adhere to both timeline and scope.
  • Deep and profound love for organization, process improvement, and documentation
  • Comfort presenting and leading enterprise stakeholders
  • 3+ years’ of project management experience for large-scale initiatives spanning cross-functional teams with complex deployments
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining highest quality standards
  • Basic understanding of various Agile delivery methods (Kanban, Scrum, Lean)
  • Familiarity with the following organizational collaboration tools (Trello/MS Planner, Figma, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.)

You might also have...

  • Technical experience as a frontend or backend developer
  • Business Analyst (gathering and documenting requirements) and/or UI/UX Wireframing experience.
