UX Designer
Los Angeles, CA
We are looking for a passionate UX Designer to play a role in shaping the future of the world’s largest game and content distribution platform. As a member of the Tools design team at PlayStation, you will craft the user experience and interface for internal and B2B products in support of SIE's data and analytics services, partnering with a team of product managers, researchers, engineers, and business partners.
We're seeking a critical thinker with excellent visual and interaction design sensibilities, a strong technical background, and an eye towards iterative improvement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Turn complex data models and product requirements into simple, easy-to-use experiences for new and existing products and features
- Champion and effectively present design ideas using sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in a cross-functional team environment
- Iterate against product requirements and play an active role in the product development cycle
- Partner with product management and engineering to ensure alignment throughout every stage of the design and development process
- Actively manage and prioritize work in order to deliver designs in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating skill in interaction design and visual design
- Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Adobe CS, or other design/prototyping software
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and other emerging internet application technologies
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- BA/BS degree in design-related studies, or equivalent experience as a UX Designer
Bonus points:
- Strong user-centered design process
- Experience working in a B2B or enterprise environment
- Knowledge of marketing, analytics, and optimization products
- Experience designing for a global audience in multiple languages
- Familiarity with the agile software development process
