UX Designer

Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days), and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

Make a big impact in creating the next evolution of GoDaddy’s user experience. As a UX Designer, you will be part of a collaborative, customer-obsessed team working to deliver world-class experiences.

On the Domains, Registrars, and Investors (DRI) UX team at GoDaddy; you will be helping domain investors around the world build, manage, analyze, and grow their domain portfolio.

What you'll get to do...

• Understand project needs, leverage research to gain insights, be an advocate for our users, and pitch unique experience ideas and concepts.
• Collaborate with other designers, product managers, and developers to deliver mock-ups, prototypes, MVPs, and final deliverables.
• Proactively manage projects, from start to finish, to meet priorities and requirements in an agile environment.
• Actively participate in design review meetings by showcasing work, and delivering effective user-centered feedback.
• Develop comprehensive end-to-end user journeys addressing customer challenges within a specific product or across multiple projects.

Your experience should include...

• 1+ years’ experience in delivering consumer software products to market. Experience with iOS and Android applications is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrates rock-solid skills in UX architecture and interaction design along with examples of designing systems across multiple products or platforms. Strong visual design and prototyping skills are a plus.
• Excellent ability to present and explain solutions and decisions to stakeholders in a style that fosters collaboration and consensus building.
• Experience managing tasks in JIRA or a similar application.
• Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

You might also have...

• BA or MA in interaction design, communication design, industrial design, HCI, or equivalent.
• Strong prototyping and/or motion skills are a plus.
• Experience / Understanding of front-end code HTML / CSS is a plus
