Role Overview:
We are searching for a UX Designer, a role focused on enhancing and expanding our core product and user experience. Your mission: Collaborating with cross-functional teams you’ll create seamless user journeys and advocate for user centric design.
Responsibilities will include:
- Creating innovative design solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges, including mobile (iOS and Android) and web apps
- Developing high-level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Collaborating with product, engineering, and other departments to brainstorm and create low and high-fidelity mock-ups (in Figma)
- Rapidly iterating - learn about a problem and come up with low-fidelity mock-ups the same day, get feedback, and finalize by the next day to build high-fidelity mock-ups
- Continuously evolving the brand and quality of designs
- Conducting user testing and interviews to understand user needs, expectations, and goals
- Optimizing and simplifying the user experience and the design of the user interface
Who you are:
- Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for the implementation of designs
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or 5+ years equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role
- Proficient in Figma
- Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and self-motivated
Bonus:
- Experience working in a startup, cryptocurrency, trading, or consumer finance
- Experience crafting illustrations for products
