Gusto is looking for a UX Designer to join us and help build our organization to and through our next phase of growth! Our team is expanding with fantastic talent from Turkey; if you are open to growth and are authorized to work in Turkey, and this sounds like you, join us! Please note that employment and SGK will be supported through our Partner PEO in Turkey. 

This is a founding design role for this team, with many opportunities to grow and shape the practice. Gusto is first and foremost customer-driven. We take pride in making informed decisions based on customer research and data while balancing short and long-term technical choices.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• Creating an intelligent, functional, useable, and beautiful user experience
• Collaboration with product management, front-end developers, DevOps, and other designers is essential.
• Develop deep empathy for our customers and translate both qualitative insights and quantitative data into creative ideas and informed design decisions
• Cultivate a creative design process that is built on inclusion and strong cross-functional collaboration
• Deeply understand and solve complex problems to give our customers peace of mind.
• Design simple, easy-to-use flows and experiences that delight our customers
• Fluency with visual and interaction on Figma
• Creative approach and an ability to turn ideas into functional and visually pleasing prototypes
• Having experience in UX writing and content creation.
• Partner with PMs, engineers, and Product Marketers, and other people from our cross-functional design team to oversee user experience for products and features from conception to launch
• Provide and seek feedback from other designers to continually push the bar for quality

Here’s what we're looking for:

• Ability to form clear hypotheses around design decisions and lay out a path to validate them
• Industry experience designing at every step of the development process, from brainstorming to post-launch research
• Strong UX craft — you can break down complex experiences and design with consideration for all touchpoints
• Experience balancing long-term design goals with an Agile-based iterative approach
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating across the entire company
• Ability to embrace ambiguous situations as opportunities to create
• Passion for Gusto’s mission and the impact we can have on the world
• 3+ years' UX Design experience 
• A maker/builder mentality with a forward-thinking approach for their responsibilities.
• A passion for learning, growing and improving. Ability to keep up with cutting-edge technologies.
• Flexible and easily adaptable to international teams and time zones.
