Shopify has redefined commerce by raising the standard for how companies of all sizes sell their products and services. To help power millions of merchants in more than 175 different countries, Shopify is always growing and finding new ways to create more value for commerce businesses around the world.
Shopify's user experience team is focused on enabling people to make commerce better at a global scale. This team plays a special role in building understanding and empathy for our merchants. The content design team is a close-knit group of crafters who work across the company to create clear, concise content that makes our products work better.
We’re looking for a Content Design Manager who is comfortable defining goals, direction and strategy, but also comfortable getting into the weeds and working hands on with their teams. At Shopify, leaders sketch too. They thrive on change and operate on trust, leveraging the diverse perspectives of the people on their team in everything they do. We look for those who question, who are optimistic but never satisfied, and always seek to do better and make things better. We love those who always want to deeply understand why people do things and how to improve. We are looking for a leader who can plan and create interface content for Shopify products, and contribute to our team's skills and growth. This position requires a deep understanding of the role language plays in the UX design process. Our ideal candidate has a love of language and understands how growth marketing intersects with product and design.
We’re always on the lookout for people who are excited to work on hard problems at a global scale in a friendly, collaborative environment. If this resonates, we’d love to hear from you.
