What we are looking for:
Wise Systems is looking for a User Researcher to focus on our differentiator of being the product in our industry with the best user experience. We need someone who is able to be the voice of the customer and help figure out complex user problems.
You'll use your UX research skills to improve experiences and turn feedback into actionable, meaningful and feasible insights. These solutions are designed to serve the client's business objectives with customers at the center. We need someone who is highly organized and great at finding efficiencies in the design and execution process while maintaining quality and ensuring the bar is kept high. Ideally, we want someone who is dependable and take responsibility for your actions, honoring commitments and completing tasks on time or notifying appropriate person with an alternate plan. This person would naturally take initiative and raise your hand to take on new responsibilities. They are a high communicator vertically and horizontally.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teams to identify research topics
- Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes
- Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs.
- Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods like surveys
- Work cross functionality with product management, design, engineering, sales, and marketingCommunicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling ways
Qualifications:
- A passionate user researcher who is well-versed in a variety of user research methodologies
- A user advocate who uses their skill as a communicator and storyteller to become a trusted partner of product managers and business stakeholders
- Talented at applying the right research methodology at the right time to enable their design, business and product partners to make good decisions about the products
- A full-stack researcher who has written objectives, created moderation guides, recruited, conducted (remotely), analyzed and delivered findings reports for multi-product teams
- Great at giving and receiving feedback, collaborating with designers and cross functional teams
- Attentive to detail with a strong sense of how to follow up on a research question to garner more insightBonus experience
- Experience with B2B and logistics products
- Experience designing and facilitating engaging workshops for stakeholders and/or research participants
- You have independently owned this function in a job in the past -- or managed it
