We are looking for a User Researcher who will help us scale our reach and impact by leading cross-pillar user research programs, streamlining our participant recruitment process, supporting researchers in planning and fielding research, and leading usability testing at multiple phases in the design process. In this role, you’ll work across the B2B and Listener spaces and partner closely with User Researchers, Data Scientists, Designers, and Product Managers to elevate our user research practice and make our research insights more accessible, impactful, and effective.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll report to the User Research Sr Manager for the Advertising R&D team and work across pillars 
  • Partner with User Researcher leaders to build a knowledge network of insights to increase the reach and impact of our research
  • Lead a process for a cross-pillar research program focused on supporting non-designers in leading their own tactical research using defined processes and make recommendations on how to continuously improve the program
  • Develop participant screeners & recruitment processes for advertisers, podcast publishers, and listeners that streamlines and simplifies our processes
  • Support researchers in identifying the most qualified research participants
  • Support B2B recruitment needs making it more efficient to identify and recruit qualified participants
  • Support more senior researchers in planning and fielding mixed-method research
  • Conduct your own tactical research as needed (ex: concept testing, usability testing)
  • Find opportunity spaces that will make research insights more accessible and impactful

Who You are:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in research operations either as a Research Ops professional, a Research Coordinator, or as a User Researcher 
  • You have experience recruiting participants, building and maintaining effective research panels 
  • You have a basic understanding of various qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and techniques 
  • You have some experience conducting usability studies and summarizing research findings in a succinct and impactful way
  • You have experience managing and prioritizing concurrent projects across different teams
  • Ability to communicate timelines, priorities, and requirements clearly and concisely
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You are interested in growing in your career as a User Researcher
