Peek’s Experience Design team plays a key role in driving innovation and product-led growth for Peek. The Role
Peek is looking for a UX Researcher with deep proficiency in user experience research to join our team. You will work with our cross-functional team to conduct research, perform usability tests and drive insight generation which assists in guiding our products and services.

The UX Researcher will report directly to the Director of Design.
Our team is 100% remote, however, we prefer candidates in the same time zones as the greater United States (UTC-10 to UTC-4). English is our business language, and fluency is required.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director of Design to level up the User Experience research processes and methodologies at Peek.
- Evangelize and educate the best research practices throughout the team and the broader company.
- Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
- Communicate the research findings to a wide variety of stakeholders in an effective way to shape our products and drive user-centric solutions.
- Perform competitive analysis research in the areas of feature analysis and UX/UI interactions.
- Work closely with the Design Team and Product Management to align on research projects and goals, while building a cohesive understanding of problems and insights.
- Perform usability testing with internal and external stakeholders so as to validate proposed solutions with actual users.
Requirements:
- Completed studies in the field of Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience within User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, applied research setting, and/or product research and development.
- A deep understanding of how to apply various research methods to shape the best features and user experiences.
- Experience utilizing industry-standard tools for research data collection and analysis such as Maze, UsabilityHub, Micro, Conferencing Software (Zoom).
- Familiarity with Looker, Mixpanel, and Pendo is a plus.
- Ability to perform and guide all research-related tasks including recruitment, planning, research, analysis, and iteration.
- A passion for user experience research and a strong creative problem-solving attitude is a must.
