As part of the  Product Design team, you will be  responsible for the design of user interfaces, as well as user experience research and design. Part of the Product Development team, this position plays an important role in the presentation of the brand by designing efficient, effective and attractive user experiences within the product suite.

What you'll do:

  • Synthesize research input and user data into user journeys and design concepts.
  • Define problems and solve them using an evidence-based rationale.
  • Craft pragmatic solutions for complex problems that stand up to rigorous testing.
  • Think about systems and the people using them, how they feel about their experience, not just the user interface.
  • Rally your colleagues around ideas that will make our experiences even more successful.
  • Collaborate with our research, data, engineering, product and design teams to create the ultimate seamless, delightful, well-rounded and coherent experiences.
  • Detail your concepts based on business needs, user needs, and engineering feasibility.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts and/or Design or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Masters Degree in Arts and/or Design or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as UX designer 
  • Demonstrated experience and high-level proficiency of visual design such as layout, color, typography and interaction
  • Ability to clearly present and articulate design decisions, participate in peer design critiques, and incorporate feedback into the next iteration
  • Ability to understand and articulate visual design concepts, methodologies, processes and is able to leverage solutions based on project constraints
  • Proficiency with industry standard design tools for user interface design and prototyping
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of UX, with a pulse on the latest developments.
  • Expert understanding of UX methods and when to apply them effectively.
  • Experience in generative and evaluative based research activities and understand the wider context of digital product design.
  • Thorough understanding of the challenges of complex web and native mobile experiences.
  • Experience working with other interface paradigms including voice and conversational interfaces.
  • The ability to help other designers find their superpowers and get them to a higher level.
  • You understand the dynamics of a large company.
