The UI/UX Designer will set a high bar for design, usability, and visual aesthetic in User Interface for allprojects. In each area you work on, you will be responsible for developing highly usable game experienceand information design. Developing and implementing layouts will also be key to this role. You will alsocreate purely visual elements, skinning existing layouts, icon creation.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Design holistic experiences with functional interactions and visuals
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new ideas and drive projects from initial design to final production
Go beyond the data to develop core insights about user behavior and understanding, transform insights into actionable product and design outcomes
Communicate abstract concepts clearly and confidently across different audiences and varying levelsof the organization
Be an advocate for great design practice and adopting new technology, champion customer-centric solutions
Work with all disciplines to ensure that the game features meet specifications and Boss Fight’s high quality bar
Work with the Design and development teams to create new content and features that drive player engagement
Collaborate with Senior Designers to write descriptive documents that effectively communicate game systems and features to the team
Exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions
Maintain communication with peers across all departments

Education and Experience
4 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, interaction designer, or similar game development role
Proficient working in a Unity based development environment
Proficiency with modern design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
Proficiency in generating interactive prototypes using a variety of tools
A proven track record of applying user research and testing methodologies, with the ability tointerpret results into actionable analysis
Proven record of shipping successful UI/UX solutions in video games
Experience with technical writing and communications design
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Our core hours are 10am to 6:00pm cst, which means you should be available for meetings etc. during thistime
