UI/ UX Designer

We are hiring a UI/UX Product Designer (Japan).

We are looking for a UI/UX Product Designer to turn our platform into an easy-to-use product for our Japanese clients as well. You will spend most of your time trying to simplify our products and ideas and localise it for the Japan market. You will be designing end-to-end journey from ideations, visual design, prototype and help our developers build what you've designed. You will co-design with the stakeholders in Japan and present your ideas. This role will be based in Japan and report to the Product Design Head based in Singapore. You will work with international tech teams based across Europe as well as in Asia.  

What will you be doing?

• Continuously improve the UI/UX product design process
• Coordinate multi-threaded teams to promote projects
• Independently complete excellent medium-sized project design schemes
• Production of functional module dynamic effects and dynamic demos
• Participate in the formulation of design specifications, put forward innovative ideas, and continuously optimize the user experience of the product
• Combine data, competitive product benchmarking, user research and other latitudes to conduct comprehensive analysis to formulate effective solutions

Who are you?

• At least 3 years' experience in UI/UX product design
• Bachelor degree or above in Interaction Design, Industrial Design or Computer related majors
• Familiar with iOS/Android and other platform design specifications
• Good knowledge of design trends, perfect design system and practical experience in methodology
• Knowledge of the Japan market, preferably with e-commerce background
• Proactive/ High-degree of initiative. A hands-on collaborative style of working is a must!
• Fluency in English and Japanese with excellent written and verbal communication skills
