Technical Writer

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Technical Writer to help create and curate our documentation set for our Snyk product range, and to support our writing tools.
Reporting to the Manager of User Documentation, you’ll work closely with our development teams, product managers, and other groups. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality technical documentation to our developer user base. You’ll also be responsible for helping to maintain and improve our documentation platform and technologies.
You’ll spend your time:
- Writing and enhancing user documentation based on Snyk products and functions.
- Reviewing, editing, and publishing content created by other teams.
- Training and mentoring content creators to ensure good content-creation practice.
- Maintaining our docs tools and driving improvements in good practice
- Liaising with our content engineering teams to collaborate on larger technology projects
You should apply if you:
- Can understand, review, and write clear documentation, based on complex technical concepts
- Can understand, use and describe developer tools, including APIs, CLIs, and IDEs
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Enjoy collaborating with different teams
- Have experience with Git-based documentation tools and technologies
We’d especially love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience working with open-source software
- Have worked in an agile software development environment
- Are familiar with using developer tools and environments
