From running the world's largest repository of Java open-source components (Maven Central) to inventing componentized software development and then software supply chain management to creating the only solution that stops malicious open-source malware in its tracks, we're constantly leading the industry while helping thousands of customers manage open source every day.
Already used by 15 million developers, we have lofty goals for our technology to be in the hands of every engineering team. And we need you to do that.

Sonatype is seeking a Technical Writer to create product documentation that helps end users get the most value from our products. Technical Writers on our product team develop excellent working relationships across multiple Sonatype teams, including engineering, design, support, customer success, sales, and marketing. They leverage information and insight from each of these teams to build both user-friendly and technically accurate documentation for all Sonatype products. As a product technical writer, you will also play an active role in providing direct feedback and suggestions to the designers who craft product user interfaces.
Product technical writers embed themselves in agile teams where product managers, engineers, designers, and writers work together on equal footing. These agile teams plan and complete activities to meet quarterly product objectives, and technical writers take part in sprint activities and ceremonies.
