Technical Writer at Banked 

We are looking for someone who is happy assuming a pivotal role within our organization. Our users, future and present merchants, heavily depend on documentation. At Banked, we truly understand the critical role that documentation plays in our success. What's especially exciting about this role is that you'll have the backing and support you need, which can often be lacking in growing companies.

Your main stakeholders consist of product managers, and engineers. Building strong relationships with our stakeholders is crucial for the role, as it allows us to exchange honest feedback in a trusting environment, affecting the quality of the documentation. We push ourselves because we genuinely enjoy doing great work and helping our users.

We need writers with outstanding writing ability and proven technical competence to provide an engaging external documentation.

About you 

• 4+ years of Technical Writing experience
• Proficiency in HTML and Markdown
• Familiarity with Git
• Strong collaboration skills to partner and learn from fellow technical writers
• Proficient at effectively communicating technical concepts with clarity and precision
• Demonstrates creativity, empathy, optimism, and curiosity
• Ability to rapidly iterate and enhance work
• A perpetual learner and teacher

What you'll be doing at Banked

• Work with other engineers, and product managers to reshape our external technical documentation
• Create documentation for newly introduced products, features, and APIs.
• Develop documentation outlining standards, guidelines, and best practices tailored to engineers.
• Streamline the organization of documentation to enhance its accessibility and discoverability.
• Uphold content quality by curating and analyzing content performance.
