About the Role

As a Technical Product Owner at Beam, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of our next-generation AI Agents. This position involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of feature development for our SaaS platform, from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with our vision of revolutionising the tech world. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building great products, has strong leadership skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Responsibilities

This role will require a blend of strong understanding of software products and effective software project management skills. Your key responsibilities will entail the following:

• Lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects in a SaaS environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to define project scope and objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing technical challenges to ensure the timely delivery of features.
• Proactively communicate with the team to resolve roadblocks and ensure smooth project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement in our software development processes and practices.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance our development methodologies.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and open-mindedness within the team to encourage creative thinking and the exploration of new technologies to enhance product capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Masters is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program/project management, specifically in a SaaS environment.
• Strong technical background with an understanding of software development and web technologies.
• Proven track record of successfully shipping features to a SaaS platform.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for innovation and driving positive change within the organisation.
