TripShift is on the lookout for a Technical Product Manager who possesses a robust background in software engineering and technical architecture. The successful candidate will manage the technical roadmap, convert product specifications into comprehensive technical requirements, supervise the release management and deployment procedures, and conduct testing and monitoring of technical performance after release. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency and product management skills to guarantee a flawless alignment between the product vision and its technical realization.

Requirements

Technical Roadmap Management:

  • Develop and maintain the technical product roadmap in alignment with the overall product strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product, to prioritize technical initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor and communicate progress against the roadmap to stakeholders.

Technical Requirements Creation:

  • Translate high-level product specifications into comprehensive technical requirements and user stories.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.
  • Facilitate technical discussions to address feasibility, dependencies, and potential risks.

Release Management:

  • Define and manage the release process, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of product features and updates.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure readiness for releases.
  • Oversee post-release activities, including testing, monitoring, issue resolution, and performance analysis.

Deployment Oversight: 

  • Develop and maintain deployment strategies that ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Work with Technology team to streamline deployment pipelines and automate processes.
  • Ensure robust documentation and training materials are available for deployment processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as the technical liaison between product management, engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and transparency around technical decisions, trade-offs, and timelines.
  • Present technical updates and roadmaps to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Advocate for and implement process improvements to enhance product development efficiency and quality.
  • Mentor and support team members in technical and product management best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Architect, or Software Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, architecture, and modern technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
