YOUR MISSION

As a Technical Product Manager in the Platform Engineering cluster, you will own our developer experience. Your goal is to improve developer happiness and productivity in order to enable the business to scale in a cost efficient manner. Your mission is to answer the questions “should this be automated?” and “Is it worth it to improve this experience?”

THE JOURNEY

  • You will shape the strategy and roadmap for the developer experience at Glovo defining key metrics, goals, and setting the team OKRs, vision and direction.
  • You will be the connective tissue between business requirements, customer needs, developer needs, and platform engineering requiring strong relationships to get feedback and ensure alignment.
  • Set ambitious, impactful objectives for your team and enable them to focus on delivery and quality.
  • Drive operational excellence both within your team and in engineering, with a focus on reliability and performance.
  • This is an internal facing product role but there are some very important customer facing aspects.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 5+ years delivering highly successful and innovative products either internal or customer facing 
  • Experience with developer tooling and/or infrastructure — you have a solid understanding of how software is made, how it works, and how to keep developers happy.
  • Leadership & stakeholder management - you can motivate your teammates to build amazing products. You’re great at making tough decisions in a sea of ambiguity and keeping everyone on track.
  • Results and Impact focus - proven track record of making the right decisions and leading a team to always work on the most valuable item possible
  • Superb communication in English — you have excellent written and verbal English communication skills. You make complex ideas understandable and craft specs that are easy for multiple audiences to consume.
