Your role

As the Technical Product Manager (f/m/d), you drive the Frontend Engineering and UI standards of Forto engineering from a product perspective. This role brings together and balances all kinds of stakeholder interests. Therefore, you need to care about technology and design by heart within this role. Just one, is not enough.

The purpose of the UI Platform team is the productivity of frontend engineering. This team enables and empowers Frontend Engineers to work effectively and efficiently on all kinds of frontend topics. This includes setting standards and establishing the right processes. Part of this work is to join forces with designers, define the right processes (governance) and provide the necessary tools (e.g. a centrally managed design system including all the tools, state management of applications, and form management).

• Enjoy talking to developers and designers about their needs
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with various audiences, including higher management
• Provide plans that take in account the needs of: designers and their digital products in the design area, the needs of engineers and their challenges around a standardized approach to frontend engineering, the short-term opportunities and long-term value for the organization
• Bridge technical needs to business goals
• Lead without being a line manager

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering or (technical) product management with a relevant amount of a frontend product
• 2+ years of experience in a product management position
• Experience in driving the implementation of a design system
• Excellent English communication skills to build collaborative relationships across Engineering, Design and Product
