Home is the default screen in the Spotify app, surfacing the best of what Spotify has to offer for every situation—personalized playlists, new releases, old favorites, and undiscovered gems. The Home Personalization Product Area consists of several teams that are focused on matching users to compelling audio content by combining our broad content catalog with machine learning personalization technologies. To do this, we rely on a deep understanding of our users’ listening habits and tastes. Our 500M+ listeners generate over 10 billion interaction events every day, which our machine learning models use to suggest recommendations to suit every situation and intent.

We are looking for a platform-focused Product Manager to join our Home organization. You will define the product strategy and roadmap for critical internal tools that empower teams across Spotify to iterate and experiment confidently on Home.

This is a highly collaborative and technical role that sits at the intersection of experimentation science, developer experience, ML configuration, and Spotify’s core Home surface. You’ll partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, insights teams, and stakeholders across multiple squads to enable reliable experimentation at scale and support innovative tactics like interleaving, covariates modeling, and simulation-based evaluation.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute a strategic roadmap for Home experimentation tooling and simulation infrastructure.
  • Partner with engineering to evolve internal systems to make experimentation setup, rollout, and holdbacks safer and more efficient.
  • Work with Insights and Data Science to improve observability and trust in experiment outcomes.
  • Enable teams to debug and validate Home experiences quickly across devices and personas.
  • Evangelize the team's tooling and capabilities across Spotify, helping other PMs and developers build faster, better, and more confidently.

Who You Are

  • A technical product manager or someone with a background in Data Science or Engineering, with experience building internal platforms or experimentation tooling.
  • Comfortable collaborating across infra, ML, design, and product surfaces.
  • Thoughtful about developer workflows and passionate about enabling experimentation velocity.
  • Experienced in defining product strategy with strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Energized by making complex systems simple and intuitive for internal users.

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in New York.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
