Job Description

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be a cornerstone of Dailymotion Engineering strategy. You will be working with all engineering members to deliver and maintain cross-engineering assets into production. You will define, plan, manage, report progress and performance on a wide range of technical products such as Cloud Providers, FinOps, Monitoring stacks. By owning these subjects, you will help to transform Dailymotion to scale up. 

Qualifications

          Duties and responsibilities  

  • Is accountable for performance and delivery of technical products across the engineering. 
  • Define the product requirements, KPI and goals. 
  • Keep top management informed of the status and performance of the product. 
  • Develop the roadmap execution strategy and timeline in relation to the operational teams. 
  • Assess and address technical risks. 
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation. 
  • Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product. 
  • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities. 
  • Ensuring all activities and operations comply with internal policies and legal guidelines.

    Requirements and skills 
     
  • Proven experience as a technical product manager or other managerial position 
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics 
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities  
  • Strong verbal as well as written communication skills  
  • Ability to manage all aspect of a product (documentation, quality, performance, budget, delivery, training, maintenance) 
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills  
  • Experience with data analysis, budgeting, and reporting. 
     
  • Qualification  
     
  • BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.   
  • Prince2 certification is a plus.
