Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of growth and engineering to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Develop related content for multiple platforms, including our website, email marketing, product descriptions, whitepapers, and blogs
• Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
• Work with raw content from subject matter experts to produce content for a technical audience about APIs and developer products.
• Partner with internal teams to test and iterate on content that increases conversions across the funnel.
• Translate technical capabilities and product features into benefits-driven messaging.
• Work closely with the product team to communicate features and solutions in our voice and tone to our customers and prospects.
• Foster a deep understanding of how key decision-makers and developers assess Merge, and through content, help them understand its use cases, unique value propositions, and more.

Experience

• Deep understanding and an ability to empathize with the problems software engineers face when working on integrations
• Cross functional experience in developing content strategy with multiple stakeholders
• Aptitude with both API-level technical documentation and higher-level technical guides and feature briefs.
• Familiarity with developer documentation is a plus.
• Experience using or writing about REST APIs is a plus.
• The ability to distill complex information into understandable, actionable, persuasive copy.
• Experience writing content for B2B SaaS.
