What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage a team of UX researchers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality research outputs and professional growth. 
  • Grow the team through hiring and amplifying their impact through setting up and following the processes that will ensure research insights and collaboration with other stakeholders are effective in ensuring business impact. 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive UX research strategy, aligning it with business objectives and user needs. 
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to identify research objectives, prioritize initiatives, and align research activities with product development cycles. 
  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative user research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, and other appropriate methods, to gather insights on user behavior, motivations, and pain points. 
  • Analyze research data, employing statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to extract meaningful insights and trends and generate actionable insights as well as make a business case to implement UX changes. 
  • Foster a culture of user-centric design thinking within the organization, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and empathy towards our customers' needs in a company that has scaled up quickly and where this approach can have a big impact. 

Who we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in conducting user research for digital products, ideally within the e-commerce industry. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a high-performing team. 
  • Proficient in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools, such as usability testing, surveys, interviews, and data analysis. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
