Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe’s product strategy, lead go-to-market for our suite of products, and create and execute campaigns to drive product growth. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Design, Developer Relations, and Communications to name a few. Different from many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch.
We’re hiring a Strategy and Operations lead to join the Product Marketing team. You will work cross-functionally and across Stripe to drive business growth and run complex programs. You’ll lead mission-critical, cross-functional efforts, deliver objective analysis and insights, incubate new roles, and execute on strategic initiatives. You may dig into winning new market segments, better understanding product/market fit for a new segment, synthesizing market insights to make strategic recommendations for GTM and product teams, or helping run high impact projects with Product Marketing leadership.
You will:
- Help identify and implement opportunities for our PMM team to better reach customer segments with the right products, solutions, and messages
- Help identify and implement new product and business opportunities
- Help us measure, identify, and incubate cross-product initiatives to drive increased multi-product awareness and adoption
- Work with PMM leadership and Product/Sales leaders to prioritize products and solutions that are most important to our segments and regions
- Design and implement new initiatives to help our Global Product Marketing team operate more efficiently and drive increased product adoption
- Perform analyses and research that help us make the right growth decisions for Stripe
- Track projects, timelines, and commitments on internal projects and customer deliverables
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 5-10+ years of experience in consulting or a comparable role in high growth tech companies
- You are passionate about digging deep into the data, thinking from first principles, and delivering the best results
- You enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute on complex projects
- Experience working across different geographies and timezones, deep empathy for colleagues and customers outside of the US
- A proven track record for working well across teams and with external partners
- A low ego and a knack for working well with a wide range of people
- Excels in analytics and problem solving
- A process-oriented mindset and ability to lead people to get things done
- Experience in a highly strategic, analytical, and operational role in fast-paced environments
- Experience in product marketing or project management, taking initiatives from conception to launch
Nice to haves (or excited to learn):
- Experience with SQL or a willingness/aptitude to learn
- Experience in a ‘Chief of Staff’ role with a senior executive
- Experience in a high growth technology company
- Experience in the payments or financial services space
- Experience in strategy consulting or finance
- “Nice to have” really means “nice to have." It’s completely possible that you don’t have any of these and are still a great fit for our team
