As a Staff Search Product Manager there are several areas where you will help pioneer and advance Search initiatives:
Enhance Customer Experience for Search:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, engineers, and data scientists to continuously improve the search experience.
- Analyze user behavior, feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement in search UX.
- Optimize search result relevance through iterative improvements and testing.
- Evaluate and optimize facets returned in search to ensure they align with user expectations and preferences.
Implement Type-Ahead Suggestions:
- Develop and implement type-ahead suggestions to enhance the search experience and guide users to relevant products.
- Work closely with engineering teams to optimize the type-ahead experience, ensuring fast and accurate suggestions.
- Monitor user interactions with type-ahead suggestions and iterate based on performance metrics and user feedback.
Optimize Product Rankings:
- Define and implement strategies to improve the ranking of products on grid and search pages.
- Utilize data-driven approaches and machine learning techniques to optimize product rankings based on user preferences, behavior, and historical data.
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop algorithms that enhance product visibility and drive conversions.
Enhance Product Recommendations:
- Develop and implement personalized product recommendation strategies to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Leverage user data, browsing history, and past purchases to deliver relevant and engaging product recommendations.
- Continuously monitor and optimize recommendation algorithms to improve relevancy and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 10+ years working in Search domain
- Computer Science, or related degree / Engineering background. (no coding will be needed)
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to develop a clear strategy, prioritized roadmap, and go to market approach for navigation our ecosystem
- Experience defining and shipping great features and products.
- Effectively communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders
- Comfortable collaborating with local and remote Product and Engineering teams
- Experience using analytics and data to make product decisions.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools
