Staff Product Manager - Security Group

Our Opportunity

We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to drive Snyk’s Supply Chain Security vision and define how this vision relates to Snyk products, both existing and emerging.

In this role you’ll collaborate with various stakeholders across the company to analyze the competitive landscape, defining flows and features. You’ll work collaboratively with development teams to drive execution as well as the field teams to launch new capabilities.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Developing a comprehensive product vision based on continuous interaction with Snyk’s broader Product Management teams, customers and field representatives 
• Carrying out ongoing market landscape analysis, including feature set, packaging and pricing to influence product strategy 
• Conducting market research to optimize the definition of Snyk’s growth opportunities, roadmap and unique differentiators for the Supply Chain Security use cases
• Defining detailed specifications for technical and functional requirements 
• Collaborating with the engineering teams to ensure alignment on requirements and priorities and continuously monitoring progress and delivery
• Continuously building and validating the feature backlog to optimize alignment with Snyk’s business strategy
• Working with Product Marketing and GTM teams on building a GTM strategy and defining action plans
• Developing communication plan and evangelizing Snyk’s solution and feature sets to customers and market analysts

What You’ll Need:

• Proven track record as a Senior or Staff Product Manager
• A background in cybersecurity and developer tools
• Experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, AST (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST)
• Prior experience working with Agile methodologies
• Strong communication & presentation skills

We’d be Lucky if You: 

• Have experience in launching new solutions and/or platforms
• Have deep knowledge in Software Supply Chain standards and organizations (CycloneDX, OpenSSF, OWASP, etc)
