Staff Product Manager, Product Platform

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Staff Product Manager of our Product Platform to lead and drive the development of the Articulate 360 cross platform capabilities. As the Staff Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of products and features that enhance our platform's functionality, focusing on account orchestration, subscription management, selling experience (touchless & ecommerce), user permissions & management, add-on pricing & packaging, and navigation. This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, product management expertise, and a deep understanding of SaaS business and customer needs.

Our Product Managers are highly collaborative. We’re looking for someone with proven experience shipping real work in collaboration with a team of engineers, designers and internal business teams. 

You should also have experience executing product roadmaps and creating plans to meet milestones and goals. This is a great opportunity to take your past experiences with product strategy, project management and cross-functional collaboration to blend them into a high-impact role.

What you'll do:

  • Strategic Product Leadership:
  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the platform, aligning with overall company goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap and ensure successful delivery of cross platform features.
  • Account Orchestration:
  • Define and implement strategies for effective account management and coordination to enhance user experiences and system level automations.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to both business needs and customer needs and translate them into product platform enhancements.
  • Subscription Management:
  • Drive the development of subscription management features, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for customers.
  • Optimize subscription models to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Selling Experience (Touchless & Ecommerce):
  • Develop touchless and ecommerce solutions that streamline the sales process and enhance user engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement effective selling strategies through the platform.
  • Assess and evolve ecommerce solutions and strategies to support fast growth and scale.
  • User Permissions & Management:
  • Design and implement robust user permission systems to ensure secure and efficient access to platform features.
  • Oversee user management functionalities to enhance user onboarding, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Customer Identity:
  • Define the end-to-end customer identity experience including sign up, sign in, sign out, password resets, two factor authentication, and single sign on flows.
  • Guide the evolution of customer identity flows to ensure friction-free and cohesive platform experiences for our customers.
  • Add-On Pricing & Packaging:
  • Lead the development of add-on pricing and packaging strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to optimize product offerings and pricing models.
  • Have a solid understanding of subscription management and accounting tools in order to maintain a strategic view when making decisions about pricing and packaging.
  • Translate pricing and packaging strategies into solutions that scale.
  • Navigation:
  • Drive the improvement of platform navigation, ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly experience.
  • Conduct usability studies and gather feedback to continuously refine and enhance platform navigation.

What you should have:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management (with platform focus) or business technology
  • Must have worked with multiple Saas businesses in order to have the necessary pattern matching needed for this role
  • Have strong stakeholder management experience leading products that support multiple customer personas (internal and/or external customers)
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical mindset
  • Strong understanding of account orchestration, subscription management, selling experience, user permissions, add-on pricing, and navigation
  • Possess a “test & learn” mentality and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic and evolving environment
  • Can balance big-picture thinking with deep-dive analysis and attention to detail
  • Have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving a common goal
  • Are deeply empathetic and passionate about understanding user needs and transforming them into tangible product features
  • Experience in SaaS or technology-driven environments is preferred
