Enterprise companies need to harness their data to remain competitive and innovate. The true potential of the data can only be realized if it is made available and easily accessible to data scientists and engineers but this often comes with a set of challenges. Challenges with securing the data and ensuring least privilege, preventing exfiltration and implementing the policies at enterprise scale.
The primary mission of this role is to ensure that the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform can be used across all use cases and data classifications in the enterprise at scale, globally. To accomplish this you will own the roadmap for product security and compliance at Databricks, collaborate with customers to spec and build out required security features and work with engineering teams to ensure they are built in a way that delights the customer.
The impact you will have:
- Deliver security features for data protection
- Formulate and execute product strategy for Databricks
- Reduce time of pre-sales security evaluation by 70%
- Establish a security process to ensure new features are delivered with security built-in
What we look for:
- Experience delivering features on public cloud environments
- Understanding of public cloud security constructs like IAM, encryption, network security
- Experience with building features and products for enterprise customers
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory best practices
