    • Lead on complex solutions without requiring support or involvement from senior members of the product team
    • Manage internal expectations for complex projects, products, and features
    • Provide coaching and mentorship to others about tactical and strategic decision-making
  • Drive Remote in the right direction by building an effective roadmap and strategy for your area of the product
    • Build out a 3 year strategic vision that incorporates market research, competitive analysis, and other inputs
    • Break down long-term strategic plans into near and mid-term goals that's easy for others to understand
    • Contributes to scaling and growth plans for their product area
  • Ship improvements quickly and iteratively, challenging yourself and counterparts to find minimal solutions to problems
    • Support and leads a product team delivering high throughput and high return on investment
    • Advance key KPIs related to product team goals
    • Work together with engineers and designers to build intricate solutions to complex problems
  • Communicate and collaborate internally and externally
    • Guide and mentor peers
    • Communicate and evangelize the product, roadmap, and process changes inside and outside of Remote
    • Leads by example on asynchronous workflows and transparency

What we are looking for:

  • Great judgment making both strategic (what to prioritize) and tactical (feature scope) decisions.
  • Driven demonstrable results by moving a product in the right direction.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple teams and juggling priorities with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Eager to grow and adapt, embracing new skills on the job while leveraging AI to boost productivity and drive innovation.
  • A strong sense of design and UX.
  • A passion for products that just work, even if the problems they solve are boring and complicated.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Business-level proficiency writing and speaking English.
  • Bonus: experience working in payroll, HR, benefits, fintech, or similar.
  • Bonus: experience working remotely.

We hope to inspire other companies to support global talent-hiring and bring local wealth to developing countries.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is USD 65,900 to USD 148,250. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

At Remote, we foster internal mobility as a key element of our culture of employee growth and development, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness.
