THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a STAFF PRODUCT MANAGER to our BASE (Business Architecture Services) team in PORTUGAL!

As the Product Manager for the Tagus Partners team, you'll drive the development of the heart of Gympass business model, the cornerstone of Gympass products and services. Tagus is what we call the core system representation of the most foundational business rules for Gympass three-sided marketplace: our users, corporate clients and fitness & wellness partners. Within the partners scope, you will work closely with business stakeholders and all other product teams to i) enable Gympass business model for thousands of partners around the world, and as a consequence impacting millions of active users, as well as to ii) build the foundation for further innovation across Gympass products.

We are looking for a seasoned and data driven Product Manager used to work with, and a solid history of quality products with complex business requirements and full of dependencies. Considering our services central role, relevant product experience with core systems that define foundational business rules, as well as having worked closely with senior business stakeholders is a plus. 

YOUR IMPACT

• Drive the development of the core services to support and enable Gympass for fitness & wellness partners in the new microservices ecosystem while being flexible and extensible to incorporate new business models - illustrative examples of commercial conditions to be defined and implemented: volume discount, peak / off-peak, first visit for free;
• Drive product requirements definition, actively collaborating with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders within Gympass to propose new product solutions as well as to continuously review and improve the current product functionality and performance;
• Partner with other product teams to align on dependencies and deliver impact to our partners, users and clients;
• Build and clearly communicate your product vision in addition to the product benefits to our users and stakeholders;
• Drive product planning, build and manage high quality product roadmaps;
• Work closely with engineering, data and product design teams to delivery well rounded, scalable and stunning products;
• Create OKRs, goals, metrics and track their progress;
• Explore new ways of improving existing services, products and process;
• Manage our backlog and lead meetings with engineers and designers;

WHO YOU ARE

• Used to work of product management with great tech products;
• Desirable experience building core systems and defining foundational business rules in close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering as well as several other product teams;
• Desirable experience leading products full of dependencies;
• Analytical and quantitative skills is a must, ability to use data and metrics to generate insights, iterate and improve product;
• Be able to prioritize and make pragmatic decisions;
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into a simple, friendly and intuitive product;
• Ability to nurture strong relationships with business stakeholders, building credibility and being able to effectively align and communicate your product vision;
• Strong communication skills, being able to actively listen and influence decisions;
• Entrepreneurial and self-driven spirit with a great desire to make things happen;
• Capacity to develop original ideas and propose innovative product solutions;
• Used to work in agile development environments;
• Engineering/ software development background is a plus.

PAID TIME OFF: We know how important it is to take time away from work to recharge. Employees receive a minimum of 25 days paid holiday per year with an additional day for each year of tenure (up to 5) in addition to annual holidays (including an extra holiday on your birthday!).

PARENTAL LEAVE: 100% paid parental leave of 12 weeks to all new parents (of both biological and adopted children, regardless of gender and parent's relationship with the co-parent) + 100% paid birth leave of 14 weeks.
