Staff Product Designer, Verticals

About the role

This product area focuses on building value for a specific segment of clients from e-commerce to restaurants and retail stores. As a Staff Product Designer in Verticals, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact our success by creating end-to-end experiences to leverage business growth.

We’re looking for someone who has no boundaries working between marketing and product. Someone passionate about digging into real customers' needs and intentions and crafting beautifully designed solutions. As we look to evolve and transform product design in the coming years, you will be a key driver in that evolution.

What you'll do

• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches. You set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate.
• Work with researchers and service designers to understand operational reality and leverage this knowledge in your designs.
• Work with other designers to find specific yet scalable solutions with polished visuals.
• Work with different stakeholders to design solutions through exploration and validation, aligning your designs with general concepts within the product.
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, know when and how to create and combine flows, user stories, sketches, wireframes, and deliver pixel-perfect specs.
• Validate designed solutions with agents and improve them based on their feedback and observations without compromising delivery speed.
• Take full ownership of your work and total responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way, from whiteboard sketching to high-fidelity final treatments.

Requirements

• You have extensive experience in product design.
• You have a strategic mindset and don’t shy away from getting your vision out.
• You've proven design cases, shipped products, and understand what it takes to create valuable and meaningful experiences.
• A talented systems thinker who can solve complex problems with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• You’re an incredible designer who can drive the quality in visual and interaction design for the whole design team.
• You’re a great leader who can mentor and inspire others to make strategy come to life.
• You've experience articulating your solutions and goals of a project clearly and concisely within the team and to business stakeholders.
• The one who sees user experience as a whole and tries to design to improve interactions with the product, not just visually enhance our interfaces.
• It’s a bonus if you have experience working with growth teams.
