Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Staff Product Designer who leverages a system thinking mindset that leads to flexible and scalable designs. You’ll work to design simple & intuitive experiences that our users will love and leverage the expertise of our incredible partners in data and engineering to see that your solutions can get realized.

A day in the life of a Staff Product Designer at Calendly 

The Design Team at Calendly is a tight knit group of creatives who work closely with product management, content design, research, and engineering to craft amazing experiences for our users. We believe that great design starts with talking with our users, and that the best solutions come from interdisciplinary collaboration.

On a typical day, you will be working on: 

  • Strategy: Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative experiences that align with user needs, business goals, and technological constraints across platforms
  • Facilitation: Facilitate cross-functional alignment to help the team define and deliver on a clear vision and roadmap
  • Storytelling: Inspire and align the team by effectively communicating your design approach and demonstrate strong storytelling techniques 
  • Systems Thinking: Design holistic and scalable solutions that deliver value for our users today and help Calendly scale in the future

What do we need from you?

  • 7+ years building and delivering experiences for digital products in product-led B2B or B2C companies
  • Proven track record in setting a vision for great customer experiences, inspiring stakeholders to get behind the vision
  • An expert grasp of the levers that balance business goals, team processes, and user needs, and how they affect the production of usable design systems
  • An ability to balance key business metrics and customer needs to design simple and understandable solutions, and communicate those solutions to both leaders and peers
  • A strong portfolio that shows your methodical thinking and quality design work
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
