Sr. Visual Designer

The team

The role

We are seeking a talented and creative Visual Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the visual identity of our company. This includes producing marketing assets, social media posts, swag, and other visual elements that represent our brand and reflect our narrative. You'll work closely with our marketing, narrative and design team to create cohesive and effective strategies that capture the attention of our target audience and stand out from the crowd.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Improve and maintain the company's brand guidelines
• Design marketing materials, ads, swag and other visual elements for the company
• Collaborate with the marketing and design team to create effective branding strategies
• Stay up-to-date on trends and design best practices
• Express our mission and narrative with visuals that’ll make us stand out from the crowd.

Requirements

• Passionate about design, aesthetic and storytelling
• Ability to balance artistic approach and systematic thinking
• Strong portfolio of branding and design work
• Proficiency in visual design and preferably motion tools (Figma and Adobe)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with user research and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience designing for accessibility
• Understanding of UI and UX design principles
• Video and animation production experience
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
