The Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Vortexa is responsible for the development of the Product Marketing function. This role will report into the CMO and be a member of the Marketing leadership team.

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager’s role is to synthesize market, customer, product and competitive inputs into driving the highest possible revenue for the business.This leader will manage the entire Vortexa portfolio of solutions from energy flows, freight analytics and inventory analytics.
We are looking for a person with specific expertise in the areas of positioning, packaging and sales enablement.
Objectives and Responsibilities
Product Positioning: The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the product’s positioning and messaging. In doing so the Manager endeavors to understand the customer's needs and behaviors.
Product Launches: The Sr. Product Marketing Manager, in conjunction with the Product Management team, is tasked with overseeing the product’s launch. The Manager’s objective at this capacity is to ensure a successful and integrated product launch for the product, new product features, and product solutions.
Collaboration: The role holder will work closely with product management, business leaders, marketing and sales teams in the formulation of optimal product strategies, models, product education approaches, product solution creation, and execution of competitive counter-tactics.
You will also go out to acquire customer information from the source by directly reaching out to customer groups to gain product feedback, better understand market trends, and competitive factors.
Analytics: The Sr. Product Marketing Manager also plays an analytical role and must be highly capable of reviewing, refining, and making recommendations on analyses conducted by the team.
Experience: 6-8 + years in a product marketing capacity.The Sr. Product Marketing Manager has to have working experience in the field of marketing, dealing specifically with product positioning, pricing, and packaging. A suitable candidate will also have had vast experience in the creation and execution of highly detailed go-to product market plans. Experience in marketing software is a must for this candidate.
Analytical Skills: A suitable candidate for the position will have to demonstrate strong analytical skills, as well as passion for products analysis, competitive analysis, and market dynamics. Have a strong ability to synthesize market data and provide solutions even on short notice or constraint deadlines.Possess a creative ability to craft product messaging that resonates and connects with the customer.
Communication Skills: Must possess excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex material both to technical teams as well as to customers in a way that relates to each audience.
