Sr. Product Manager, Privacy & Compliance

We are looking for a senior product manager to be a fierce advocate for customer privacy and respect for the intellectual property rights of creators, many of whom pour their hearts and souls into their art. There is also a dynamic and developing legal landscape governing user-generated content, copyright, data sovereignty, and privacy. Your role will also be to stay abreast of these requirements and ensure we are not only compliant, but that we go above and beyond in providing a superior customer experience as it relates to those protections.

What you’ll do:

• Develop a compelling product vision that is built on top of a deep, data-driven understanding of the customer and regulatory landscape.
• Roll up your sleeves, dig into the details, create requirements, and drive a steady cadence of improvements.
• Set a high bar for success, never accept the status quo, look for every opportunity you can find to innovate.
• Manage the execution of initiatives from solution through launch - engaging all the right teams at Vimeo along the way.
• Define metrics for success and failure and analyze and create dashboards for key metrics.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• 7+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of successfully launching product solutions.
• 3+ years of experience building software solutions in customer privacy and compliance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven self-starter with a bias for action, who can both execute and strategize, and who is comfortable with ambiguity.

Targeted Base Salary Range:  $122,400 to $187,000

The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
