About this role

At the core of Vimeo’s DNA is a focus on creating a seamless and intuitive workflow for video creators. As a Product Designer on this team, you will significantly impact the business side and work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, data analysts, team stakeholders, and other designers and creatives in Israel, the US, and the UK. You’ll have a direct impact through design ownership of one or more facets of this product. We have a big vision, and we’re looking for the most creative people to help us get there.

What you will do:

• Be a partner in Vimeo’s global Product Design team, working in Israel on the video Creation & Editing tools
• Collaborate with product designers, product managers, engineers, UX writers, and data analysts within a dedicated squad to reach your product area goals
• Grow your design toolset and skills, and develop your career path
• Deliver best-in-class user experiences worthy of the Vimeo brand and design system
• Execute simple, beautiful, and user-centric design solutions to various problems. Create user journeys from the concept phase through mockups, prototypes, and quality reviews, all the way to release and post-release optimizations based on qualitative and quantitative research

• Conduct usability tests and user interviews, document, identify and share insights to address our users’ needs and improve our product
• Own your work - be autonomous and promptly take responsibility for every last detail
• Be a team player that is both professional and pleasant to work with
• Work flexibly from home or our Tel Aviv and Ness Ziona offices.
  
  

What you will bring:

• 4+ years of experience as a product UX designer, designing digital products
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrate relevant product experience, processes, and your specific contribution
• Ability to communicate your design vision and strategy through verbal and written explanations to small or large groups, from designers to the leadership team
• Familiar with Web, iOS, and Android design patterns/standards
• Experience with Figma - designing, prototyping, and working with design systems
• Excellent English language skills
  
  

What would be nice to have:

• Bachelor's degree in visual communication design
• Experience working within a team in a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) tech company
• Experience designing video tools and creative products
