Sr Product Designer

What we’re looking for:

Sift is looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong UI skills to join our Product team. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams to help build industry-leading products that stop fraud at scale. You will support multiple products, lead research projects and leverage your strong background in interaction design for B2B SaaS products.

What you’ll do:

• Own the entire design process from ideation to implementation - including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for dev teams. 
• Research is a core aspect of the design role at Sift. Collect customer feedback, conduct studies, and prove your design hypotheses through data. 
• Balance short-term design needs with our long-term goals and design vision
• Contribute to Sift’s Design System framework
• Proactively get feedback and win buy-in for designs from a diverse stake of internal/external stakeholders
• Support your team as a coach and mentor and contribute to a vibrant design culture focused on continuous improvement supported by data

What would make you a strong fit:

• 4+ years of experience designing web or mobile applications, particularly B2B SaaS applications
• Experience as lead or primary product designer for a major feature area and are comfortable bringing a strong and informed design point of view to the product team
• Proficiency in conducting customer research to guide design decisions (including prototypes and user studies)
• Self-starter, high-energy, and proactively push projects forward
• Ability to work with ambiguity
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Portfolio demonstrating process and depth. A strong balance of UX and UI
• Experience in design systems or component systems a plus
